Create an Account

  1. Click here
  2. Enter your Bigelow email address
  3. Check your email for an invitation with the subject "Activate your 1Password account"
  4. Click the blue "Activate your account" link in the email
  5. When prompted, click on "Sign in with Google"
  6. Use the instructions from 1Password to install and use the 1Password apps for web browser, desktop, tablet, and phone, autofill usernames and passwords in the web browser (on any device), and create and share items/vaults.
    Reach out to IT if you need/want help at any point in the setup!

Configure

  1. Turn off built-in password manager in your browser
  2. Download and install 1Password app (macOS, Windows, iOS, Android)
  3. Import your data from other applications into 1Password

Vaults

1Password stores your passwords in vaults. You can make vaults that are only visible to you or you can make vaults that are shared with another person or a team.

There is a Bigelow Staff vault with passwords for internal WiFi networks, etc. Once you join 1Password, you should be able to see this vault and the items in it.
